LA County Second District Business Interruption Fund
Assisting businesses significantly impacted by the loss of customers and revenue due to major, recent interruption events. Applications are now closed!

The Second District Business Interruption Fund (BIF) is funded by LA County Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell and administered by the LA County Department of Economic Opportunity. It is designed to support qualified businesses who have experienced a significant, negative business interruption in the last calendar year between October 7, 2023 and October 7, 2024 with grants of up to $10,000.

Application Office Hours
Our partners at PCR are pleased to offer a few in-person application assistance workshops should you or your business want in-person assistance in filling out your application. All sessions will be held at the Center for Sustainable Communities, located at 1051 Rosecrans Ave. Compton, CA 90222. Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be the business owner and applying for a business that meets all the following requirements:

Grantee Selection
In addition to being reviewed based on the eligibility criteria, applicants will also be scored and selected according to factors determined by the County, including location in a highest/high need area based on the County’s Equity Explorer Mapping Tool and other factors.
Funding is limited and meeting eligibility criteria does not guarantee a grant award.
