Funds and Grants

The Small Business Resiliency Fund (SBRF) is a grant program from the Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) that provides up to $5,000 in financial assistance to small businesses that experienced loss of workforce, property damage, decline in customers, or revenue loss due to immigration enforcement actions that occurred starting June 2025. This support is intended to help businesses recover from unexpected economic disruptions. .

Worker Rights Guidance

LA County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs (DCBA) – Office of Labor Equity – Provides resources for workers facing employment issues related to wages and workplace laws and enforcement. Visit Office of Labor Equity website. 

CHIRLA – Employment and immigration law services and assistance with employment rights have been violated. The team offers consultations once a week by phone.

LA Street Vendor Solidarity Fund:  provides support for street vendors in Los Angeles County impacted by immigration enforcement.

Detained Immigrant Bond Fund: Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice (CLUE) Detained Immigrant Bond Fund provides financial support to help secure the release of detained community members from immigration detention.

Cash assistance to certain aged, blind, and disabled legal non-citizens ineligible for SSI/SSP due to their immigration status.

Legal Assistance

Represent LA – Represent LA offers legal representation for immigrants in custody or in the community who face deportation, and to vulnerable individuals seeking affirmative immigration relief. Also helps vulnerable populations apply for various forms of immigration relief and links clients and their household members to available services that provide legal representation.
